2 Years Flew By

One of my weaknesses is I don’t take the time to celebrate milestones like I should. I’m wired up to see the next hill or the next problem to solve. I feel a sense of urgency to keep plowing ahead, instead of pausing to celebrate.

In fact, it’s harder than you might think for me to make this post because I have several others lined up I’d rather share. But I’m trying to grow in the art of celebration.

When you celebrate it gives you and your team a sense of accomplishment. A by-product of accomplishment is energy and fuel for the next climb.

I still need people around me who will remind me to stop, make a wish, and eat some cake. My wife is the best at celebrating and we are a stronger family because of her.

So what am I celebrating?

What’s something you should stop and celebrate? You’ve worked hard to make it happen so take a moment and reflect. Give yourself permission to rejoice in your work (Galatians 6:4) and what you’ve accomplished. God finds joy in you doing what He created you to do.
